WX-6615GT is a wireless router with performance enhancement for the current 802.11g platform. There is a built-in 4-ports full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect user’s wired Ethernet devices. It also allows user network to share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. WX-6615GT is fully compatible with all other 802.11 devices operating in 2.4GHz frequency band. Unlike other speed enhancing technologies, WX-6615GT provides greater throughput by up to 40% than the typical 802.11g without impacting the performance of other WLAN devices around the same area. The router can act as a DHCP server and has SSID enable/disable functions. For secured data transmission, WX-6615GT provides WEP Encryption and WPA selections. MAC filtering and VPN pass-through supports are also included in WX-6615GT. For more advanced network security, the Access Filter Control lets administrator to block or allow specific Internet usages. The Internet access policies can be setup for selected PCs and filters using the port range selection. The configuration is a snap following the web-based configuration utility.
